Kim Fox is a Gemini-nominated, award-winning journalist with over fifteen years of traditional media and start-up experience. As ScribbleLive's Vice President of Content, Kim ensures its platform gives clients access to world-class content and resources.
Prior to joining ScribbleLive, Kim helped launch Toronto-based start-up Newsana, an online community of people passionate about finding and discussing quality news and ideas. As Senior Producer Community & Social with CBC News, Kim developed the newsroom's social engagement strategy and worked on several high-profile projects including the World Cup, the Olympics, the Toronto International Film Festival and the G20. Kim also appeared regularly on CBC TV and radio, reporting on the social media angle of breaking news events.
In 2012, Kim led the editorial launch of CBC Music, the public broadcaster’s multi-platform music service. Earlier in her career, Kim worked at Rogers Media developing their content syndication strategy for several publications including Maclean’s, Chatelaine, Flare, Canadian Business and Hello Canada.
